Our company is urgently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to be part of our projects in Sweden. Our client is an established Main Contractor with projects all over Europe. The company is committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers top notch services that are currently involved in complex technical projects in civils, life sciences, pharmaceutical, commercial,residential, new builds and data centre schemes. As Electrical Engineering Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development and implementation of electrical systems and projects. As an ideal candidate you are expected to have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent leadership skill and proven track record in delivering high quality projects on time and within the budget.
Key Responsibility and Requirements:
Lead the electrical engineering team including engineers, designers and technicians to ensure efficient project execution.
Supervise the planning, design and implementation of electrical engineering projects ensuring the compliance with technical specifications, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders, clients and project managers to define the project scope, objectives and deliverables.
Take control of the Technical submittal process ensuring the specification is followed and TS are submitted on time to allow the design team to review, comment and follow up.
Develop the electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, control systems and instrumentation using industry standard softwares and tools.
Lead the technical analysis, simulations and calculations to optimise system performance efficiently and effectively.
Establish and fulfil the quality assurance process & procedures to ensure electrical engineering designs meet or exceed the industry standards and client expectations.
Develop project budgets and cost estimates for electrical engineering projects and monitor project cost throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify risk and develop a risk management system to minimise or eliminate their impact on the project development.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Carry out quality control measures and procedures to identify and address electrical construction errors and deficiencies.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
5+ years’ of experience in thesame role.
Data centre experience is beneficial.
Strong knowledge in electrical engineering methods, materials and building systems.
Remarkable leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
