We are assisting an established and rapidly growing Fit-Out/Refurbishment Contractor based in Hertfordshire in their search for an experienced Project Manager. As a Project Manager you ideally have a strong background in project management and commitment to delivering high quality results on time and within the budget.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Initiate detailed project plans, schedules and budgets for fit-out/refurbishment projects.
Conduct site assessment to identify the project requirements, risks and opportunities.
Team up with stakeholders to specify project goals, deliverables and success criterias.
Identify and distribute resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
Oversee all the site construction activities ensuring that works are performed safely and effectively following the project plans and specifications.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Carry out quality control measures and procedures to identify and address construction errors and deficiencies.
Manage project costs and cash flows and provide regular financial updates to stakeholders.
Prepare regular updates on project progress, milestones and issues, and address stakeholder concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Degree in Construction Management/ Engineering or related field.
7+ years’ experience in Project Management role.
Proven track record in delivering large complex projects.
Commercial awareness is an advantage.
Proven ability to manage projects and deliver results within budget and schedule.
Strong verbal & written communication and problem solving skills.
Proficiency in project management softwares and tools.
