Location: Rosslare Salary: €95,000- 100,000 DOE

Senior Planners- Rosslare 

€95,000- 100,000 DOE + Transport + Competitive Package 

We are assisting an established Main Contractor in their search for an experienced Senior Planner in Rosslare, Ireland to play a key role in developing and managing project schedules for a large Infrastructure Project ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation. 

Key Responsibilities and Requirements: 

  • Provide detailed project schedules, including activity arrangements, resource assignment, and critical path analysis, using project management software. 

  • Work together with project teams to ensure project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements. 

  • Identify resource requirements for construction projects including materials, equipment, and subcontractors, and develop reliable schedules. 

  • Communicate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of resources. 

  • Carry out a schedule risk analysis and identify potential schedule constraints, conflicts and develop solutions to minimize or eliminate project delays. 

  • Keep track of project schedules, incorporating changes, delays, and added information to maintain accuracy and reliability. 

  • Perform progress tracking systems and methodologies to monitor project performance against baseline schedules and key performance indicators (KPIs). 

  • Arrange regular progress reports and status updates for project stakeholders, highlighting schedule variances, milestones achieved, and upcoming activities. 

  • Look after potential risks related to project schedules, such as weather delays, supply chain disruptions, and resource availability issues, and develop alternative solutions. 

  • Attend meetings as required and contribute to the best of your knowledge. 

  • Communicate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve schedule-related issues and maximize project delivery. 

  • Degree in Construction Management/ Engineering or related field. 

  • 7-10 years’ experience in a Project Planner role. 

  • Strong organization, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Knowledgeable in planning software and tools.
