We are partnered with an award-winning modular contractor operating across Europe in key sectors specialising in innovative, high-quality, and efficient building solutions. Due to continued growth, the company is now looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator who will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing project specifications, and working closely with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure cost-effective project execution. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:     

  • Review project plans, specifications, and relevant documents to develop comprehensive cost estimates and prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for resources & services.   

  • Compile, review, and submit competitive bid proposals and documents ensuring accuracy and completeness.  

  • Work closely with stakeholders regarding all elements of tender inquiries and evaluate tender documents to ensure commercially reliable quotations. 

  • Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with project estimates and propose effective solutions. 

  • Provide cost control support during the project execution and help in tracking and managing project budgets and financial performance.  

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of cost estimates ensuring that all documentation is accurate & complete. 

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of estimates and bids.  

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure favourable outcomes and agreements. 

  • Prepare required documentation for the tender submission, including cost estimates, bills of quantities, schedules, and compliance information.  

  • Degree in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying or qualifications in related field.   

  • 2+ years’ experience in Estimator role within construction with focus on fit out projects. 

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques. 

  • Proficiency in Conquest estimating software or similar. 

  • Proficient in navigating BIM models and interpreting drawings. 

  • Effective negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
