To €90,000 DOE + Competitive Package 

We are partnered with an award-winning modular contractor operating in key sectors across Europe specialising in innovative, high-quality, and efficient building solutions. Due to continued growth, the company is now looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor. As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing all financial and contractual aspects of projects from inception to completion, including assisting in developing commercial strategy for specific projects. You will be managing and maximising the profitability of the projects through timely requests of payment, minimising cost without compromising quality and subcontractor agreement.   

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:       

  • Reporting to Senior Project Cost Manager & Commercial Manager, you will prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial plans for the project, performing cost analysis and value engineering to optimise project costs without compromising on quality. 

  • Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts and subcontract with clients, contractors, and suppliers ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, and manage any variations or changes to the contract, including pricing adjustments. 

  • Prepare and evaluate tender documents, including contract conditions, bills of quantities, and subcontractor packages. 

  • Identify, assess, and manage financial and contractual risks associated with projects and ensure that all issues are addressed without delay.  

  • Managing subcontractor/supplier accounts, overseeing, and authorising subcontract payments, and ensuring the agreement of final accounts. 

  • Prepare regular financial reports, including cash flow forecasts, estimates, and budget variance analyses and provide accurate and timely financial data to project managers and stakeholders to support informed decision-making.  

  • Manage the procurement process for subcontractors, materials, and services, assess suppliers, negotiate terms, conditions, and ensure that all procurements are cost-effective and delivered on time.  

  • Ensure that all financial and contractual activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, implementing and maintaining quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of cost estimates and financial reports.  

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.  

  • 3+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying within construction. 

  • Prominent level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of quantity surveying and reporting.  

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts.  

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial data and make informed decisions.  

  • Proficiency in Quantity Surveying software and tools including Microsoft products. 

  • Excellent negotiation, problem solving, and communication skills.
