BIM Engineer - Finland 

To €70,000 DOE + Full Rotational Package + Allowance 

Our client, a leading High-Tech facilities contractor specialising in delivering high-quality solutions for complex projects, with dedication to excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction is in need of an experienced BIM Engineer with strong electrical background for data centre projects. As BIM Engineer, you will bring deep knowledge of electrical systems and proven expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes to drive coordination, clash detection, and delivery of data centre projects. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development of detailed 3D models, ensure design compliance, and support the integration of electrical systems across all project stages. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:  

• Generate, implement & maintain building data models, BIM Execution Plans & standards ensuring all models are accurate in accordance with project specifications & standards.  

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between project teams to discuss model progress, issues, and resolutions. 

• Conduct regular audits and quality checks on MEP BIM models to identify and resolve any issues or conflicts within the models ensuring immediate actions/resolutions.  

• Conduct clash detection and resolution with internal and external teams, ensuring issues are logged, tracked, and closed out. 

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records.  

• Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit & Navisworks and keen to explore new BIM applications.  

• Proficiency in 3D drawing/3D planning, using BIM software in creation and testing of BIM coordination models.  

• Relevant 3rd level qualifications.  

• 5+ years’ experience in a BIM role with strong electrical background in data centre projects.  

• Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols.  

• Strong knowledge in reading & creating drawings and specifications.  

• Strong technical skills in BIM modelling & coordination.  

• Detail oriented with focus on accuracy & quality.  

• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.
