Building Services Engineer- Rosslare

€60,000-65,000 DOE + Package

We are assisting an international multi-disciplinary Top Tier Contractor and leading provider of top notch construction and engineering services in their search for an experienced Building Services Engineer to be working in the company's projects in Rosslare, Ireland. The company is focused in operating across Ireland, the UK and Europe and has become the engineering and construction services provider of choice in growth segments such as pharmaceuticals, data centres, life sciences, industrial, commercial, residential and power transmission and distribution. As a Building Services Engineer, you are responsible for design, maintenance and installation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAc systems in ongoing projects. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Develop designs, specifications, and drawings for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems based on project requirements and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with structural engineers and other stakeholders to integrate building services systems into overall project designs.

• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of building services systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.

• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel.

• Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges encountered during construction, testing, and commissioning activities.

• Lead inspections and quality checks to ensure that building services installations meet project specifications and standards.

• Keep track and report any deviations or deficiencies in building services systems and coordinate corrective actions as needed.

• Third level mechanical or electrical qualifications.

• 5 years’ experience in the same role.

• Main contractor experience is an advantage.

• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem solving skills.

• Excellent IT skills.
