We are assisting a leading provider of innovative prefabricated MEP solutions, serving a wide range of industries, with a commitment to enhancing project efficiency, sustainability, and quality. Due to continued growth, the organisation is in need of an experienced Commissioning Engineer who will be responsible for the commissioning, testing, and handover of commercial energy projects. As Commissioning Engineer, you will oversee the design specifications, performance expectations, and safety standards of the projects. You will be reporting to Associate Director and will collaborate closely with the design team, project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure the smooth integration of equipment and systems. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements: 

  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and test protocols. 

  • Establish commissioning requirements, objectives and performance criteria based on project specifications and standards. 

  • Participate in meetings and provide commissioning input on requirements and integration into project design. 

  • Oversee the installation and testing of building systems and components. 

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues during commissioning. 

  • Collaborate commissioning activities with contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely completion and compliance with project requirements. 

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the commissioning process. 

  • Provide regular updates and reports to project teams and stakeholders on commissioning progress, issues, and resolutions. 

  • Document commissioning results, prepare technical reports, and complete all necessary documentation for project handover. 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Building/Mechanical Engineering or related field. 

  • Proven experience in commissioning engineer roles. 

  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety protocols. 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Experience in preparing and executing commissioning plans and procedures. 

  • Willingness to travel across Europe and work on-site as required.
