Our client is an established engineering & construction main contractor delivering new build data centre schemes across Northern & Central Europe. This organisation provides a full turnkey solution, constructing these facilities from the initial design phase through groundworks, structural build, M&E installation, fit-out, and final handover. Company turnover is currently €1.3bn, with continued growth of 10%–15% year-on-year.
Due to continued expansion, the requirement now exists for an experienced CSA Construction Manager (Concrete & Structures) to join the project team delivering a €600m+ hyperscale Data Centre in Finland.
The CSA Construction Manager will play a key role in overseeing and managing all civil and structural construction activities across the project, with a particular focus on concrete works, structural packages, and building envelope elements. The role will involve coordinating subcontractors responsible for foundations, slabs, structural frames, and heavy concrete works to ensure delivery is achieved safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications and programme milestones.
The successful candidate will work closely with project management, engineering teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure the safe and successful delivery of large-scale structural works within a fast-paced, mission-critical construction environment.
• Manage and coordinate all CSA concrete and structural construction activities across designated project areas
• Oversee subcontractor works including foundations, groundworks, reinforced concrete structures, slabs, structural frames, and associated civil works
• Ensure structural works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards
• Monitor construction progress against programme milestones and address potential delays
• Coordinate closely with engineering and MEP teams to ensure structural readiness for subsequent installation phases
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety compliance and quality control across all structural activities
• Review and approve subcontractor method statements and risk assessments for structural works
• Lead daily and weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and site teams
• Manage inspections, quality checks, and concrete pour approvals to ensure compliance with project standards
• Support project planning by ensuring structural milestones are achieved in line with programme requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation relating to site activities, inspections, and quality assurance processes
• Promote a strong health & safety culture across all construction activities
