CSA Design Manager – Data Centres – Munich & Frankfurt

Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects
 

Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced CSA Design Manager.

Responsibilities

• Design Coordination Oversee the integration of civil, structural, and architectural designs, ensuring alignment with other project teams (e.g., MEP, IT).
• Regulatory Compliance Ensure designs meet local codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for structural integrity, fire safety, and sustainability.
• Quality Control & Risk Management Monitor design quality, conduct reviews, and identify potential risks to avoid delays and ensure safe construction.
• Stakeholder Collaboration Act as the main contact for architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure effective communication and design alignment.
• Cost & Schedule Management Manage the budget and timeline for civil, structural, and architectural components, adjusting stay on track.

Requirements

MEP & CSA background required. (Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial engineering preferred but Architectural / Structural / Civil could be acceptable)

Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in the Construction industry.

Solid experience required coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Project management experience across all design phases (design fees time / cost management)
