Our client is a specialist data centre main contractor delivering full turnkey solutions on new-build data centre projects across Europe. Their scope includes civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning works. With group turnover exceeding €1.5bn and a secured order book for the next three years, they continue to expand their specialist electrical and commissioning teams.
Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Electrical Authorised Person (AP) to join the project delivery team on a major hyperscale data centre project in Sweden.
The Electrical Authorised Person will be responsible for the safe control, isolation, and energisation of electrical systems on site, ensuring all high-risk electrical activities are planned, authorised, and executed in strict accordance with project procedures and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Act as the Electrical Authorised Person for HV and/or LV systems on site
•    Control electrical permits, switching, isolations, and energisation activities
•    Ensure compliance with electrical safety rules, procedures, and method statements
•    Authorise and oversee high-risk electrical works, including live testing where required
•    Coordinate electrical activities with construction, commissioning, and client teams
•    Maintain electrical safety documentation, permits, and switching schedules
•    Participate in FAT, SAT, energisation, and commissioning activities
•    Lead toolbox talks and promote a strong electrical safety culture on site
•    Support testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems

Requirements:
•    Proven experience operating as an Electrical Authorised Person on large-scale or mission-critical projects
•    Strong background in electrical building services, HV/LV systems, or power infrastructure
•    Formal AP appointment and experience with permit-to-work systems
•    In-depth knowledge of electrical safety rules and isolation procedures
•    Experience on data centre, industrial, or critical infrastructure projects preferred
•    Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
•    EU work rights or eligibility to work in Sweden
