Electrical Site Supervisor – Data Centre Project – Amsterdam, Netherlands
 

A leading European MEP contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join its long-term hyperscale data centre project in Amsterdam. This is a full-time, permanent role offering strong career progression and the opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical infrastructure.
 

As Electrical Site Supervisor, you will coordinate teams of electrical trades, ensure quality control, maintain health & safety standards, and play a central role in driving performance, compliance, and project delivery on site.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily electrical installation works, managing direct labour and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and programme adherence.
• Interpret and implement electrical drawings, specifications, and IFC scope with precision.
• Plan and oversee site activities including cable pulls, containment installation, terminations, and commissioning support.
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure RAMS and SPA compliance across work areas.
• Enforce site safety rules and lead incident reporting, site audits, and close-out of SBO actions.
• Oversee procurement processes including material tracking, IRs, and delivery verification.
• Coordinate with planning and commercial teams for scheduling, productivity tracking, and cost awareness.
• Maintain redline drawings, documentation, and ensure clean handovers.
• Monitor and assess workforce performance, including apprentices and subcontractors.

Candidate Profile:

• Senior Electrical Trade Qualification (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of supervisory experience on large-scale construction projects, ideally data centres or pharma/industrial environments.
• Proficient in reading schematics, SLDs, and installation drawings.
• Skilled in coordinating electrical site activities, quality inspections, and material control.
• Excellent communicator, strong leadership qualities, and a proactive mindset.
• Fluent in English; experience in multinational site environments is a plus.
