Our client, an established Main Contractor with extensive operations across Ireland, UK, and Europe is in need of a highly skilled and experienced Finishing Foreman. Working closely with project manager, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams, Finishing Foreman is responsible for overseeing the final stages of construction on new build and high-end residential or major large commercial projects ensuring the highest quality standards while maintaining the highest level of Health and Safety. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements: 

  • Lead and supervise all finishing activities on-site, ensuring that all finishing works meet high-end quality standards, particularly for luxury residential and major commercial projects.  

  • Inspect works regularly to guarantee precision, accuracy, and adherence to client expectations. 

  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery and execution of finishing materials and services. 

  • Monitor the project’s finishing schedule, making sure all tasks are completed on time, in the correct sequence and provide regular progress updates to senior management. 

  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues or delays that arise during the finishing stage, proactively finding solutions to maintain project timelines and quality standards. 

  • Perform regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards to maintain a safe working environment for all trades ensuring strict adherence to all health and safety regulations on-site.  

  • Manage and carry out snagging processes, ensuring that any defects or incomplete work are identified and rectified before final handover. 

  • Act as the point of contact for clients and stakeholders during the finishing phase, addressing concerns and ensuring the final product aligns with their expectations. 

  • Manage the allocation of finishing materials, tools, and labor effectively, ensuring minimal waste and optimum use of resources. 

  • Ensure all finishing works comply with local building codes, industry standards, and any specific project requirements. 

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with a strong trade background. 

  • Experience working in Ireland/ UK is desirable. 

  • Ability to travel when needed.
