To £75,000 DOE + Package We are partnered with a leading contractor involved in key sectors including Civil Infrastructure, Transport, Commercial, Residential, Retail, Industrial, Fit Out, Data Centre, and Pharmaceutical. Due to continued growth, the organisation is in need of an experienced and detail oriented HSE Manager. As HSE Manager you will be developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure robust environment, health, & safety measures on site, ensuring a secure working environment, leading the team in achieving safety goals & objectives. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Lead the development of HSE leadership & culture in the workplace. Implement HSE and wellbeing policy in the organisation. Ensure full compliance with local and national HSEQ legislation pertaining to the project construction phase and offices. Develop project-specific health & safety strategies, programmes and plans in partnership with Group HSEQ. Coordinate HSE programme elements addressing site access, security, project induction, first aid, welfare, and emergency arrangements. Coordinate and manage on-site HSE resources. Communicate and co-ordinate the adoption of industry best practices in health, safety & environment on all projects. Establish a process of active HSE monitoring through audits and inspections of site conditions and contractor activities. Monitor and report on HSE performance and challenges using predefined leading and lagging health and safety performance indicators. Support projects throughout their lifecycle from proposal, through design, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, handover, and operational stages. Ensure appropriate and effective emergency response, case management, incident investigation and reporting mechanisms are in place to facilitate learning from incidents (LFI). Significant years of experience in HSE Management with focus in technology, data centre, and utility projects. Degree/qualifications in Health and Safety Management or related field. NEBOSH qualification and membership of IOSH or equivalent is desirable. Knowledgeable in updated HSE regulations, standards & best practices. Proven verbal and written communication skills.
