HSE Manager – Finland 

Our client is a multi-national construction and engineering organisation. They are headquartered in the USA and active across Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East, with a turnover in excess of €6bn and 9,000 permanent employees globally. They work across a diverse range of market sectors (with a very heavy tech focus) including: Data Centres, Semiconductors, Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology, Photovoltaics, Battery Plants & Speciality Chemicals. They offer a full turnkey service for their clients from design, construction and handover across the full range of CSA (civil, structural, architectural), MEP (mechanical and electrical) and commissioning works  

The need now exists for an experienced HSE Manager to join the delivery team working on a hyper-scale data centre project in Finland 

Duties will include
•    Advise management on matters relating to HSE.
•    Implementation of company and legislative HSE requirements 
•    Advise company and management on all aspects of health, safety and environmental issues
•    Advise the MD and the Company Safety Manager of all serious accidents and incidents
•    Compile accident and incident reports
•    Assist with EHS programs and activities to promote safe conduct of workers.
•    Report and liaise with the management, relevant authorities on accident occurrence.
•    Conduct daily inspection and act on unsafe acts and conditions.
•    Maintain and monitor EHS records and checklists.
•    Compile and regularly update EHS procedures, manuals, guidance notes and the like
•    Undertake site risk assessments, site safety and environmental audits

Key experience: 
Ideally Nebosh HSE qualification (or similar level)
At least 3 years experience in a similar role and field, ideally within Data Centres

In return our client can offer negotiable basic plus full rotational package consisting of housing, car, travel, large mixture of allowances. Rotational pattern of 10/4 (days)
