Our company is currently recruiting an experienced Intermediate Estimator to be working onsite in East London, UK for a leading contractor with a turnover of over £30 million, committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers high quality services.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for expenses based on project plans and specifications.
Knowledge of estimating software, historical data, and industry benchmarks to ensure accuracy and completeness of estimates.
Assist in the preparations of bids & proposals for new projects, including reviewing tender documents, analysing requirements and identifying risk and opportunities.
Verify quantities & measurements on site, collaborating with project teams to address errors and ensure accuracy.
Generate reports and summaries of estimated costs, providing insights & recommendations to project stakeholders as needed.
Maintain records, bids and related documentations ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Organise project datas and documentations for future reference and analysis.
A degree qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
5 years’ experience in Estimating roles.
Strong teamwork skills with excellent interpersonal abilities, capable of effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
Excellent organisational, problem solving and planning skills.
Excellent IT skills.
Main contractor experience is advantageous.
Demonstrated eagerness for continuous learning and personal development.
