To £120,000 + Benefits Our client, a leading contractor renowned for delivering high-quality solutions and innovative projects committed to excellence and safety, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead M&E Project Manager. As Lead M&E Project Manager you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of M&E aspects within large-scale projects ensuring that all mechanical and electrical works are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency while meeting project timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Lead the M&E scope of projects from inception through to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Oversee the design, procurement, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders to integrate M&E systems seamlessly into the overall project. Act as the primary point of contact for all M&E-related aspects of the project, addressing client and stakeholder concerns promptly. Ensure all M&E works adhere to relevant codes, standards, and health and safety regulations. Manage contract agreements with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, quality standards and handle any contractual issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining oversight to ensure high performance. Proactively identify potential risks, bottlenecks, and issues that could impact the project and develop & implement solutions to resolve issues and keep the project on track. Participate in meetings and prepare accurate and updated documentation ready for review or submission to senior management. Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering or related field. Significant years of experience in managing high-value and complex M&E installations within construction. Extensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in construction projects. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address technical and operational challenges.
