Mechanical Construction Manager – Pharmaceutical - Denmark

Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects
 

Due to continued growth in the region of their Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join their Pharmaceutical and Life Science team based on a large new build pharma production plant scheme in Denmark

Responsibilities to include:

• Managing the on-site coordination of works with other trades
• Assisting with the management of all costs associated with your package of works
• Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minute meeting with sub-contractor.
• Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings
• Attendance on System Walkdowns, internal and Client
• Ensure correct revision drawings are being used 
• Implement weekly ‘look aheads’ ensuring co-ordination with other trades.

Ideal Criteria:

3rd level qualification, Engineering Degree or recognised trade qualification

A minimum of 5 years as a Mechanical Construction Manager and specific experience within pharmaceutical projects

Strong Process Piping skills / experience

Competitive salary, negotiable but likely to be between €85k - €90k +
