MEP Project Director Data Centre Construction They have just secured a large mechanical package of works on a 18MW fast paced data centre scheme in Copenhagen, Denmark and we are now seeking a Project Director to lead the team The Project Director will oversee the full mechanical scope, driving delivery from pre-construction through to handover. You’ll lead a team of PMs, engineers, commercial staff and site managers — keeping everything on track, on budget, and aligned with the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Our client is established Mechanical & Electrical subcontractor. They undertake MEP packages on behalf of Tier 1 main contractors across the UK and Europe. Their European team primarily undertakes large HVAC / Mechanical packages on data centre and similar high-tech projects
Someone who’s been there and done it — ideally on large-scale MEP projects, with a cool head and a knack for steering complex builds. You’ll need strong leadership, great communication skills, and a solid grasp of both technical and commercial detail.
• MEP background, preferably mechanical bias
• Proven track record delivering large projects (€25m+)
• Experience in data centres or mission-critical environments a plus
• Eligibility to work in the EU (EU passport or valid work visa)
• Be part of a high-profile, high-tech build
• Lead a brilliant, driven team on site
• Long-term work across the EU for the right person
