Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre – Frankfurt

We are currently partnered with a large MEP Subcontractor with presence across the UK and Europe. They have recently acquired a €50m MEP Package of works on a Data Centre construction project in Frankfurt. Due to this they are now actively seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

Responsibilities

•   Measurement & Valuation of MEP Works:
Carry out accurate quantity take-offs and measurement of mechanical and electrical works from drawings and BIM models to support valuations, variations, and cost forecasting.
•   Cost Control & Financial Reporting:
Assist in maintaining cost control throughout the project, tracking committed and actual costs, preparing monthly commercial reports, and ensuring alignment with budgets and project targets.
•   Change Management & Variations:
Identify, value, and substantiate variations and change orders in a timely manner, ensuring all changes are documented and submitted in line with contractual procedures.
•   Subcontractor Procurement & Administration:
Support procurement of MEP subcontract packages, including tender evaluations, contract award recommendations, and ongoing subcontractor account management through to final account.
•   Contractual Compliance & Client Liaison:
Ensure all commercial activities comply with contract terms and conditions, collaborating closely with the Commercial Lead, Project Manager, and client representatives to resolve queries and maintain positive working relationships.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on MEP construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have EU Passport or RTW in Germany
