Our company is currently hiring for an experienced Pre- Construction Manager to be working for a Fit Out Main Contractor with a turnover of over £200 million in the Central London region who is committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers top notch services. As an ideal Pre- Construction Manager you are expected to have a strong background in project management and proactive approach to challenges on and off project sites. 

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Be available for contact during the pre- construction phase, understanding their requirements, objectives and preferences.

  • Perform site visits & assessments to evaluate existing conditions and identify potential challenges & opportunities.

  • Team up with engineers, architects, designers and consultants to develop design concepts that meet the client expectations and project requirements.

  • Evaluate the design drawings, specifications and documentations to ensure alignment with project scope, budget and quality standards.

  • Generate accurate cost estimates and budgets for fit- out projects based on preliminary designs and other important factors.

  • Identify risks and develop risk management plans and strategies to minimise or eliminate potential impact in project goals.

  • Lead the procurement strategies/plans including identifying key suppliers, subcontractors and vendors.

  • Develop accurate project schedules & timelines for fitout projects including pre-construction activities and milestones.

  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, health and safety and other legal requirements throughout the pre-construction phase.

  • Degree in Commercial Management or related field.

  • 2+ years’ experience in thesame role.

  • Commercial awareness is beneficial.

  • Fit- out/ main contractor experience is an advantage

  • Strong knowledge in fit-out construction methods, materials and building systems.

  • Remarkable leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
