Our company is urgently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager/ Buyer to be part of our projects in Frankfurt, Germany. Our client is an established Civil Contractor with projects all over Europe with a base in Frankfurt, Germany. The company is committed to excellence, innovation and sustainability that delivers top notch services that are currently involved in complex technical projects in civils, life sciences, pharmaceutical, commercial,residential, new builds and data centre schemes. As a Procurement Manager you will oversee the sourcing, evaluation and contracting with the suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost- effective delivery of materials, equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Establish & implement procurement strategies to identify & qualify suppliers and subcontractors for the projects.

  • Perform a market research & supplier evaluations to assess the capacity, performance and cost competitiveness.

  • Negotiate contracts, terms and pricing with suppliers to secure more favourable agreements and pricing.

  • Collaborate with project teams to determine material & equipment requirements based on project specifications and schedules.

  • Lead the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with project timelines & quality standards.

  • Assess procurement related issues and present reliable solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, laws & company policies throughout the procurement process

  • Manage accurate records of procurement activities, contracts and vendor performance evaluations.

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Engineering or related field.

  • 5+ years’ experience in procurement of subcontract and materials.

  • Located in an hour within Frankfurt.

  • Strong knowledge in procurement systems, practices and regulations.

  • Proficiency in communicating both in German and English.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication and problem solving skills.

  • Knowledgeable in procurement software and tools.
