Location: Italy, Italy Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 + Full rotational Package

Project Manager – Sports Stadium – Rome, Italy

As a Project Manager, you will provide overall project support to the Project Director/Executives throughout all stages of a large-scale sports and entertainment venue projects, including design, construction, testing and handover.

You will complete tasks related to programming and budget throughout the numerous stages of the project, and interact with Owners/Clients, Architects/Engineers and Contractors/Subcontractors on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: The Project Manager is responsible for creating a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. They ensure that the stadium construction project stays on track by developing and managing schedules, coordinating with different teams, and adjusting plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Budget Management and Cost Control: The Project Manager oversees the project budget, ensuring that costs remain within the approved limits. This includes managing expenditures, approving purchases, negotiating contracts, and finding cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards.
  • Coordination and Communication: The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact between all stakeholders, including clients, architects, contractors, and suppliers. They facilitate regular communication and meetings to keep everyone updated on project progress, resolve issues, and address concerns.
  • Risk Management and Problem Solving: The Project Manager identifies potential risks to the project's timeline, budget, or quality and develops strategies to mitigate these risks. If problems arise during construction (e.g., delays, safety issues, or design changes), they are responsible for finding solutions to keep the project moving forward.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensuring that the sports stadium is built according to the required standards, regulations, and specifications is a key responsibility. The Project Manager oversees quality control processes, conducts inspections, ensures compliance with local building codes, and manages the final handover process to ensure the project meets client expectations.

Requirements

Must have previous consultancy experience on large construction projects

Must be fluent in both English and Italian

Must have EU Passport or Italian RTW
