QA Manager – London
Our client is an established and respected mechanical and electrical subcontractor working across London and the Southeast. They service Tier 1 & 2 main contracting clients across a variety of sectors including commercial, public sector, energy, pharmaceutical and data centres. Company turnover stands at £85m with ambitious growth plans to exceed £150m in the next few years, they already have £100m secured for 2025 & 2026 and have a very strong cash position to support this growth.
Due to this continued growth our client is now seeking a QA Manager to aid the delivery of this Life Sciences Project.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement QA Processes
Establish and maintain comprehensive quality assurance processes for all stages of the data centre project, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Oversee Quality Control Inspections
Lead regular inspections and audits of construction activities, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards.
Coordinate with Project Teams
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality standards are understood, maintained, and integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
Identify any non-conformities or quality issues, take corrective actions, and ensure that effective solutions are implemented to maintain project quality standards.
Quality Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of all quality assurance activities, inspections, test results, and non-conformances, providing regular progress reports to senior management.
Training & Development
Provide ongoing quality assurance training to team members and contractors, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the project.
