Risk and Change Manager – Data Centres – Finland

Our client is an established main contractor working across Europe specialising in the delivery of Data Centre construction projects on behalf of global blue-chip clients. They offer a full turnkey service for their clients from design, construction and handover across the full range of CSA (civil, structural, architectural), MEP (mechanical and electrical) and commissioning works 

The need now exists for an experienced Risk and Change Manager to join the team working on a Hyper-Scale Data Centre new build scheme in Finland.

Responsibilities

• Risk Identification and Mitigation:

Lead the process of identifying potential risks across all phases of the data centre construction project. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring that potential issues are addressed before they impact the project.

• Risk Assessment and Analysis:

Conduct thorough risk assessments using qualitative and quantitative techniques to evaluate the potential impact of identified risks. Collaborate with project teams to prioritize risks and develop mitigation plans.

• Change Management Process:

Oversee and manage the change control process for the project, ensuring that any changes to scope, cost, or schedule are properly assessed, approved, and documented. Track and report on changes to maintain project alignment with the original objectives.

• Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:

Serve as the primary point of contact for all risk and change-related issues. Prepare regular risk and change reports for senior management, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of risks, issues, and actions taken.

• Continuous Improvement and Lessons Learned:

Continuously evaluate and improve risk management and change control processes. Lead the post-project analysis to capture lessons learned and ensure that these insights are applied to future projects for better risk and change management practices.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree or equivalent trades background

Must have Strong knowledge of risk management methodologies, change control processes, and industry best practices.

Experience using risk management software/tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, Risk Register) to track and report risks and changes

Data Centre experience ideal

Benefits

€70,000 - €90,000 per annum + Full rotational Package
