Senior Commissioning Manager - Ireland 

To €120,000 DOE + Full Rotational Package + Allowance 

Our client, a leading High-Tech facilities contractor specialising in delivering high-quality solutions for complex projects, with dedication to excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction, is in need of an experienced Senior Commissioning Manager for data centre projects. As Senior Commissioning Manager, you will ensure all building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), CSA, fire/life safety and controls are installed, tested, and functioning per the design intent and project requirements. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:       

• Lead commissioning activities across multiple, large-scale data centre projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and best practices. 

• Develop and manage the commissioning plan, schedule, and execution strategy in alignment with project goals. 

• Coordinate with MEP engineers, contractors, OEM vendors, and QA/QC teams to ensure smooth project execution. 

• Identify and mitigate project risks related to systems readiness and operational resilience. 

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the commissioning process. 

• Manage commissioning agents and third-party consultants. 

• Provide regular updates and reports to project teams and stakeholders on commissioning progress, issues, and resolutions.  

• Document commissioning results, prepare technical reports, and complete all necessary documentation for project handover. 

• Degree or higher in Building/Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or related field. 

• 7+ years' experience in commissioning management roles with strong background in technical systems installations in data centre projects. 

• Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety protocols. 

• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.  

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations with ability to address and resolve technical, contractual, and logistical issues.  

• Experience in preparing, managing, and executing commissioning plans and procedures.
