Senior Design Manager - Ireland 

To €100,000 DOE + Full Rotational Package + Allowance  

We are assisting a High-Tech facilities contractor, specialising in providing cutting-edge solutions across various sectors, committed to excellence, innovation, and reliability who is urgently looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager for data centre projects. As a Senior Design Manager, you will lead the design process for large-scale data centre construction projects that involves managing design teams, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that all design aspects meet project requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.    

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:   

• Manage the design coordination and implementation plans of architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, M&E engineers, building technicians, and fire protection engineers.  

• Lead the development of project design strategies, goals, and objectives.  

• Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure that design plans meet project requirements and comply with relevant codes and standards.  

• Verify and approve design documents, specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.  

• Interpret project milestones, deliverables, and critical paths to track project timelines and development.  

• Develop accurate schedules to ensure logical, compliant and project specific programs.  

• Responsible for quality assurance processes and procedures to maintain the integrity and consistency of design deliverables.  

• Lead the design reviews, audits, and inspections to identify and address any design-related issues and present reliable solutions.  

• Degree in Engineering/ Construction Management or related field.  

• Good understanding of safe application of building standards and guidelines. 

• Proven accomplishments as Senior Design Management specialist with good background in data centre projects. 

• Strong understanding of design coordination, BIM processes, statutory approvals, and project delivery methods. 

• Proficiency in CAD, Revit & digital planning software & tools.  

• Remarkable leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
