Senior Electrical Engineer- Billingham 

To £85,000 DOE + Package 

Our client, a leading engineering contractor delivering world-class services across Europe, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team in Billingham. As Senior Electrical Engineer you will lead and manage the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems across various projects, this role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, hands-on experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and reliable solutions. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements: 

• Participate in pre-bid meetings to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables. 

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems by creating detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts that will ensure the fulfilment of project goals within the projected timeline and budget. 

• Perform detailed calculations and simulations to validate designs and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards. 

• Lead design reviews, technical discussions, and troubleshooting sessions to resolve complex issues. 

• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they meet design specifications and ensure the integrity and functionality of designs. 

• Prepare and update documentation for review or submission to internal and external stakeholders. 

• Degree in Electrical Engineering. 

• 10+ years’ experience in a similar role with a strong background in project management and team leadership. 

• In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations such as BS7671. 

• Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools. 

• Effective communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
