Senior Electrical Estimator – Data Centre/Commercial – Canary Wharf

We are currently working with a renowned turnkey services contractor whose specialties span from Fit out services to Mechanical and Electrical Services. After 40 years of proven success, they are now looking to span their team further with a Senior Electrical Estimator joining their team in the Canary Wharf office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate electrical cost estimates for commercial fit-out and data centre projects, ensuring all components, systems, and labour costs are accounted for in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents, collaborating with design and engineering teams to clarify scope, assess risks, and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Lead the tender process from initial enquiry through to submission, coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments to gather quotations and verify costs.
• Conduct site visits and pre-tender meetings to assess project requirements, constraints, and site-specific factors that may influence cost and buildability.
• Support post-tender activities, including handover to project delivery teams, value engineering discussions, and participation in client negotiations or presentations when required.

Requirements

Commercial and/or Data Centre experience is preferred

Ideal candidate will come from Electrical Trades Background or have relevant degree level qualification

Ideal candidate will have 8+ years’ experience in an estimating role

Benefits

£80,000 - £90,000 per annum
