Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor- Dublin 

To €90,000 DOE + Package 

Our client, a premier engineering contractor, committed to innovation, excellence, and client satisfaction is in need of Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor to manage full commercial aspects and all costs relating to electrical engineering of 30 MW Data Centre project in Dublin from initial estimates to final accounts, ensuring that project costs are controlled, and value is maximised while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. 

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:         

  • Perform a detailed electrical cost analysis, identifying project scope, specifications, and contractual requirements and develop a comprehensive project budget. 

  • Manage electrical cost planning and management including estimating, budgeting, and cost control measures. 

  • Oversee the preparation and evaluation of commercial & subcontract packages, contributing to interim and final valuations. 

  • Analyse and verify contracts and identify key terms, conditions and obligations related to electrical cost management. 

  • Prepare and evaluate tender documents, including contract conditions, bills of quantities, and subcontractor packages. 

  • Prepare regular cost reports, providing project managers and stakeholders with insights into cost performance. 

  • Implement effective cost control measures to monitor project expenditures and identify potential risk/issues and present reliable solutions making sure senior management is notified. 

  • Manage and review commercial aspects of the project to ensure accurate reporting. 

  • Participate in project meetings, providing expertise and insights on cost management issues and strategies. 

  • Degree/qualifications in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics. 

  • 6+ years’ experience post qualification within M&E contractor is desirable.  

  • Data Centre project experience is an advantage. 

  • Proficiency in Quantity Surveying software and tools. 

  • Excellent negotiation, problem solving and communication skills.
